Abstract:
Critical properties of the hard mode instability are investigated on the basis of a simple model using the response function analogously to that in dynamical critical phenomena. It is shown that Wilson's renormalization group method can be applied although some features are more complex in this case. Consequently, critical exponents are shown to be the same as those of the two-component ψ4-TDGL model.
