Production of Magnetized Black Holes and Wormholes by First-Order Phase Transition in the Early Universe

Abstract:

If GUT-Phase transition is of first order, magnetized black holes and wormholes are produced in the early universe. After these black holes and wormholes evaporate, 't Hooft-Polyakov type monopoles remain. It is shown, if the nucleation rate of bubbles is less than a critical value, overproduction of monopoles is suppressed.
