On Supergravity with Propagating Lorentz Connexion

Abstract:

We study some models of propagating Lorentz connexion ωµrs coupled to supergravity. The first supersymmetric model, though it contains negative energy ghosts, has consistent couplings of ωµrs to other fields. To circumvent the problem of ghosts, we propose second models, which are shown to have no negative energy ghosts up to the free field level. The corresponding locally invariant Lagrangian is given in terms of superfields.
