Strange Attractor (Optical Turbulence) in a Model Problem for the Laser with Saturable Absorber and the Two-Component Bénard Convection

Abstract:
We describe the basic features of a strange attractor appearing in a model problem for a laser with saturable absorber and the truncated five-mode description of the two-component Bénard convection.
