Axially Symmetric Solutions to a Classical SU(2) Gauge Theory

Abstract:

We constuct three types of static, axially symmetric exact solutions to a classical SU(2) gauge theory in the φ4-ansatz. These solutions seem to require planar, string and dipole-like external sources respectively.
