Nucleon Superfluidity under Coexistent Condensation of Neutral and Charged Pions in Neutron Matter

Abstract:

Nucleon superfluidity under coexistent condensation of neutral pions (π0) and charged ones (πc) is studied in high density neutron matter. The 3P2-dominant superfluidity persists even in such a situation, because the attenuation due to πc condensation is almost compensated by the enhancement due to large nucleon effective mass under π0 condensation.
