Abstract:

A new operator representation of collective states which takes the place of SU(6) phonon model is proposed. The compact representation of J=2 nucleon pairs reproduces the major part of the anharmonicity effects in “mult-honon states”. We obtain a refined model of collective states which is very useful in the lowest-order approximation. It explains the band structure with respect to B(E2) appearing in the single j-shell model calculation.
