Abstract:
The parameter ΔE, involved in the random walk model of the deep inelastic collisions, is estimated by simple models. For the nucleon transfer processes, ΔE is proportional to E1ab per nucleon of projectiles. For the inelastic processes ΔE ≃2 Δ, where Δ is the parameter of Weidenmüller's random coupling model.
