Abstract:

Formalism of kernel function method for Q2-dependent parton distribution functions is described in the leading logarithmic approximation of QCD. By the use of this, experimental data are analysed point-by-point in the x-Q2 plane. Our analysis covers 16 sets of experimental data in eN, µN and νN deep-inelastic scatterings. We show that the charge sum rule for ep-en in the naive parton model is violated, the effect of higher twist contribution is not seen above Q2=4 GeV2, and determine the distribution functions for quark and gluon at Q2=4 GeV2 with reasonable range of momentum fractions.
