On the Nonrelativistic S-Matrix

Abstract:

Attention is drawn to older literature results from which it follows immediately that the S-matrix for the Korteweg-de Vries equation (KdV) and for the related (stationary multicomponent) nonlinear Schrödinger equation factorizes.
