Nonmesonic Decays of ⁴_ΛH, ⁴_ΛHe and ⁵_ΛHe Hypernuclei by the π and ρ Exchange Model

Abstract:

The nonmesonic decay rates of ⁴_ΛH, ⁴_ΛHe and ⁵_ΛHe are evaluated by employing the π and ρ exchange model with realistic ΛN and NN correlation functions. The tensor dominating nature characterizes the decay interaction in this model and gives very different decay rates for ⁴_ΛH and ⁴_ΛHe.
