Quantum Effects of Extra Gauge Fields in Kaluza-Klein Scheme

Abstract:
We evaluate the one-loop effective potential for the extra gauge fields in 4+N-dimensional Kaluza-Klein geometry. The numerical result is given in the case that the extra space is an N-sphere.
