Abstract:
Supersymmetric axial U(1) anomalies are studied by using unconstrained superfield potentials for matters. Additional gauge invariances are fixed with gauge-fixing functions which are independent of the background Yang-Mills fields at the first stage of the gauge-fixing process and/ or at the second stage. It is shown that the usual result based on the chiral superfield is obtained correctly in both cases.
