Abstract:

Thermal distribution of quarks in a proton-antiproton system at low energies (Plab < 1 GeV/c) is calculated by assuming a single particle harmonic oscillator potential with LS forces. Meson multiplicities and inclusive pion momentum distribution at 700 MeV/c are calculated from the quark distribution to compare with experiments. Energy dependence of these quantities are predicted.
