Abstract:
The Rarita-Schwinger field coupled to an external electromagnetic field is reduced to a constrained mechanical model. It is shown that the Rarita-Schwinger paradoxes (non-positibe definiteness of the anticommutators and noncausal modes of propagatin) are viewed as rather general Phenomena inherent in constrained systems and are commonly originated from the invertibility condition.
