Possible Derivation of Energy Gaps or Hadron Masses from Fictitious-Time Correlations in Stochastic Quantization Method

Abstract:

We discuss the possibility of deriving energy gaps or hadron masses from fictitious-time dependences in stochastically quantized field theories, and present a simple example of numerical simulations of this problem in the case of a non-relativistic particle in a fixed potential.
