Abstract:
The prediction of drastic effects due to the glue-like role of Λ particle in hypernucleus is put on a firmer basis by reexamining 9ΛBe with use of a wide range of ΛN interaction and different types of NN interaction. The participation of Λ leads to a significant contraction of the α-α rms distance and a drastic reduction of E2 transition probabilities.
