Several Electrons in the One-Dimensional Deformable Continuum

Abstract:
The inverse scattering method is applied to a coupled electron-photon system of one dimension. Adiabatic potentials are calculated exactly for the case of any number of independent electrons coupled to deformable continuum. Polarons, bipolarons and their interaction are discussed.
