Abstract:
The finite inhomogeneous transformation laws of currents which appear in two dimensional conformal field theories are related to the shifts of the Schwinger terms in the corresponding local algebras under gauge (coordinate) transformations. Some immediate consequences of such transformation laws are also discussed.
