Baryon Multiplicity Distribution in Nuclear Matter Produced by Heavy Ion Collisions at Stopping Energy Regime

Abstract:
The Monte Carlo event generator for high energy proton-nucleus (p-A) collisions is developed on the basis of the multi-chain model. From the results obtained by our simulation for p-A collision, the destribution of the number of baryons stopped by the heavy ion collisions is estimated. Dependences of this distribution on the incident energy and on the mass number of colliding nuclei are investigated.
