Abstract:

Characteristics of pion-condensed neutron star are discussed. Based on these, an attempt is made to explain the existence of two dominant peaks with the time interval Δt(∼10 s) in neutrino flux from the supernova 1987A. It is remarked that Δt is closely related to the temperature and central density of the neutron star assumed in the supernova.
