Abstract:

Special relativistic limit of \overlinePoincaré gauge theory of gravity developed in previous papers is examined by fixing the limiting form of the Higgs-type field ψ= {ψk} to be ψk \conge(0)k µxµ + ψ(0)k with constants e(0)kµ and ψ(0)k. The total dynamical energy-momentum and total spin angular momentum, which are introduced as generators of internal \overlinePoincaré gauge transformation, reduce to the energy-momentum and total angular momentum of matter field in the special relativistic theory of fields, respectively. Their expressions in terms of flux integrals are also discussed. An alternative limiting form of ψ is also considered.
