On Lagrangian Formalism

Abstract:
The differences between Lagrangian and Hamiltonian formalisms are discussed through the concept of chronological ordering operators thereby keeping close correspondence to Feynman's path integral.
Next a method to derive commutation relations without referring to Hamiltonian formalism is presented.
