Σ-Λ Conversion Decay of Σ-Hypernuclei with Nuclear Colletive Excitations

Abstract:
Excitations of collective states (giant resonances) in
Σ-Λ conversion decay of Σ-hypernuclei
are discussed. A strong and oscillatory mass number dependence of excitation
of each collective state is found. It is found that the conversion width
which comes from the excitations of isovector giant resonances is of a few
MeV.
