Abstract:

We investigated the possibility that the last three events detected by Kamiokande-II can be explained by the phase transitions occurred in the neutron stars just born. We found that, if the equation of state of neutron stars is stiff enough, the last three neutrino events can be explained by the enhanced neutrino emission from the neutron star reheated by phase transitions.
