Physical Interpretations on Reduction of Wave Packet in the Machida-Namiki Theory

Abstract:
It is shown that the condition for the occurrence of reduction of wave packet formulated in the Machida-Namiki theory generally differs from the one for the operation of measuring apparatus. And we present some of the physical phenomena which result from the difference.
