Derivation of the Cocycle Factor of Vertex in Closed Bosonic String Field Theory on Torus

Abstract:

In the string field theory on torus, we construct the vertex from the overlapping δ-functional and find that it satisfies the connection condition, the Jacobi identity and cyclic symmetry. The cocycle factor is shown to be automatically derived from the overlapping condition.
