Partial-Wave Amplitudes of Elastic πd Scattering

Abstract:

We have performed a partial-wave analysis of elastic π d scattering for the currently available experimental data with attention to the uncertainty in the moduli of 3P2 and 3D3S-matrix elements in the energy range TπL=117 ∼325 MeV. The moduli which are larger than the previous partial-wave solutions and compatible with the three-channel (pp, π d, N Δ) unitarity, are found to be allowed below TπL=256 MeV.
