(2 + 1)-Dimensional Classical Gravity with Point Sources in Maximal Slice

Abstract:
We study the (2 + 1)-dimensional classical gravity in the case of point sources of arbitrary motion using the maximal time slice and the conformal gauge for the spatial metric. The single moving particle case, in particular, exhibits a new feature distinct from the well-studied case.
