Abstract:
We show that the model based on the Salpeter equation realize mπ, mρ, mφ and the mass levels of ψ and γ families by a universal kernel. These results are obtained by upgrading the approximation of the previous analyses at two points. i) The Salpeter equation with the positive energy amplitude alone (PE), which reproduces the energy spectra of heavy quarkonia well, is improved by taking into account the negative energy amplitude (FM). ii) Further, in the confining kernel we take into account a constant term in addition to the pure linear term. Our calculation supports that the 0-+ state called η(1430) or iota (1460) is exotic (e.g., glueball).
