Junction Conditions in 2 + 1-Dimensional Gravity

Abstract:

Possible junctions among Minkowski, Cone and de Sitter space-times are exhausted. Using the positive energy condition for the string, the possible space-times are restricted. The motions of the string in various cases are solved.
