Abstract:

The ground resonance state with Jπ = 1+ and an excited resonance state with Jπ = 2+ in the 9Li + n system are investigated in the framework of the complex scaled orthogonality condition model. The resonance energies and widths are calculated for the folding-type central and l… potentials between 9Li-core and neutron under a single channel approximation. In comparison with recent experimental data of the 10Li system, the 9Li-n interaction is determined and the 9Li-core excitation effects are discussed. It is also stressed that determination of the 9Li-n potential obtained here is crucially important for the further quantitative study on the halo structure of 11Li.
