Abstract:
It is demonstrated in a random ferromagnetic XY model, which consists of various magnitude of spins (XY fuzzy spin model, XYFSM), that randomness generates metastable energy states due to pinning of the topological disorder of the system even in the continuous spin system. The structure of the metastable states, the energy barrier and relaxation process from the metastable state to the stable state are investigated by Monte Carlo method.
