Critical Responses of Fully-Frustrated Triangular Ising Lattice to External Fields

Abstract:
At low temperatures near Tc = 0, the antiferromagnetic triangular Ising lattice has a scaling type response, exhibiting the Villain-Stephenson universality, to a specific field which enhances one of the degenerate spin configurations at 0 K. The critical region shows an anomalous feature.
