Abstract:
The ratio of the K+ total cross section of nuclei to that of deuterons, RT, is calculated in the framework of the Glauber approach. The quantity RT is sensitive to the ratio of the real to imaginary part of the K+N amplitude, ε. In the region of low K+ momentum, RT is larger than unity since |ε| > 1 for light nuclei.
