Brans-Dicke Theory from M4 ×Z2 Geometry

Abstract:

In the Brans-Dicke (BD) theory on M4×Z2 geometry the geometrical meaning of the torsion is clarified. The BD theory with an arbitrary BD parameter ω is derived by taking into account a new isometry condition on this manifold.
