Abstract:

A series of the molecular dynamics simulation has been carried out about the fluids and the supercooled fluids of the two dimensional system. The system sizes are 10,000 atoms and 250,000 atoms. The shapes of the regions for the (linearly) correlated motion of atoms are very similar regardless of its size. The fractal dimension is about 1.5 which has been calculated in the 2-D binary mixture supercooled fluids. The regions of this motion spread widely for the bigger system, especially in the highly supercooled fluids and glasses.
