An extended bond fluctuation method for polyelectrolytes undergoing gel electrophoresis in 3 dimensions is presented and dynamics of a single molecule under steady field gel electrophoresis is studied by the method. Quasi-periodic behavior in time development of a longer radius of the principal axes Rl(t) is reproduced. Averages of the peak shape of Rl(t) and of the displacements of front, center, and rear parts, scaled by the peak height and the oscillation period, are quantitatively in good agreement with the corresponding experimental results.
