Toichiro Kinoshita

Laboratory of Elementary-Particle Physics,
Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, USA

Abstract:

This paper consists of two parts: 1. Revisit of the discovery of renormalized QED by Tomonaga group [This part is based on the invited talk presented at the Tomonaga Memorial Symposium, Japan Physical Society Meeting, Matsuyama, March 28, 2006, which was published in AAPPS Bulletin 16 (2) (April 2006), 11. The same article was printed also in Int. J. Mod. Phys. A 21 (2006), 2447, by permission of AAPPS]. 2. A brief review of high precision test of QED by means of the electron g-2 from 1947 to present.
