The First Year Results of the LHCf Experiment to Verify Cosmic Ray Interaction Models at LHC Energy

Abstract:
The LHCf experiment is dedicated to the measurement of
spectra of neutral particles at very forward region of
the LHC collision point in order to verify various comsic
ray interaction models used in air shower Monte Carlo (MC)
simulations. We report status of the first data taking at LHC
and preliminary results from the first year data.
