Canonical Quantization of String Fields
— How to Define Momentum

Abstract:
We carry out canonical quantization of covariant bosonic string
field theory in a super-many-time formulation. A momentum conjugate of
string field is defined as a derivative of Hamiloton's principal
function with respect to a string field.
