Abstract:
Partially self-similar spacetimes are considered in two cases when the homothetic hypersurface is space-like and non-space-like, and it is shown that an acoustic discontinuity can appear in the latter case. The ordinary differential equations to be solved are derived in two cases for Bianchi types I-VII and the special solutions of type I are shown.
