Abstract:
With the aim to construct a bridge between the understanding of the vibrational motion in even spherical nuclei and the rotational motion in even deformed nuclei, a new microscopic approach is proposed. The emphasis is put on the explanation of the basic idea. In order to illustrate the physical essence of the method without inessential complications, the single j-shell model with the “pairing plus quadrupole force” is adopted.
